Privacy Policy

Overview

Tubidy is a music player app. You can search and play tracks, manage a local library, and optionally download music when that feature is enabled. The app does not require creating a Tubidy account.

Information we collect

On your device

• App preferences and library data (recently played, liked songs, playlists, downloads metadata) stored locally on your device
• An anonymous device identifier used only for aggregate audience statistics (online / active users) when the app can reach our servers

Advertising

• We use Google AdMob to show ads (banner, interstitial, and app open)
• Google and its partners may collect advertising identifiers and usage data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement

Network & technical

• When the app contacts our admin API, standard server logs may include IP address, device type (iOS/Android), and timestamps
• Streaming and search traffic may go to third-party content providers as needed to play media

How we use information

• Operate and improve Tubidy
• Enable or disable features remotely (for example downloads or promotions)
• Show ads that help keep the app free
• Measure approximate audience size (anonymous)

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Google AdMob and advertising partners (ads)
• Infrastructure providers that host our API (server logs)
• Authorities if required by law

Retention

• Local library data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear app data
• Server-side anonymous device sessions may be retained for a limited period for analytics and abuse prevention

Your choices

• Limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising
• On Android, adjust ad personalization in Google Settings → Ads
• Uninstalling the app removes local library data from the device
• Contact us with privacy questions (see below)

Children’s privacy

Tubidy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

If you use Tubidy outside your home country, your information may be processed in other countries where we or our partners operate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
